Paul Brandus, an member of the White House press corps, tweeted on January 11 that the First Family are going to hang out in DC for a few years so Sasha can complete high school.   Paul’s tweets have since been taken down, generating even more speculations and interest about the Obama’s housing plans.

Freddie Mac reported Thursday that mortgage rates were down to an average of 3.92% (with an average of .6 points) this week, after tipping into the 4% range late December.  With limited inventory and  buyers ready to enter the spring market, I believe this will result in continued downward pressure on mortgage rates if , inventory levels remains low.  Keep posted!
