Commuting from Harding Township

To New York City
Harding residents may park at Convent Station train station (Madison Avenue going west from Downtown Madison) in Morris Township as a non-resident or find private parking in Madison ( Madison only offers resident parking).

Convent Station:
Convent Station is serviced by NJTransit Midtown Direct Line with direct access to NY Penn Station at 33rd between 7th and 8th Avenue with an average train ride of about 60 minutes.

Downtown Summit:
Summit offers non-resident commuter parking next to tiered garage on Broad Street for NJTransit train service or at the park & ride on Broad street (#15 on map) serviced by  Lakeland to Port Authority Bus terminal at 42nd street.

Working Downtown Manhattan:
Option 1: Take a Midtown Direct Train and transfer in Summit to the Peapack Gladstone line. From Hoboken one will pick up the NJ PATH or NY Waterways.

Option 2: Drive to Grove Street in Jersey City and pick up the PATH, about 25 miles.

Non Resident Parking:
The following neighboring towns offer non- resident parking: Morristown, Convent Station on the Midtown Direct line. Lyons, Gillette, Sterling & Millington on the Hoboken bound line. Summit services both train lines.
